Born in Chicago, IL in the 1950’s and raised in St. Louis, MO and Corona Del Mar, CA, Maret Kunze-Roche lives in Durham, NC. She studied life drawing, calligraphy and Chinese Brush painting before studying with Portland, OR artist Jesse Reno.

Using acrylic paints and mixed media, Maret Kunze-Roche finds inspiration in color, her intuition and the quiet of the painting process.

She has exhibited locally at the Living Arts Collective, New Hope Market and the Durham Art Guild’s 65th and 68th Juried Shows. Most recently, she exhibited at the North Carolina Medical Board through the DAG Art@Work program.
